First mention happened in Exodus 15:18: “The LORD shall reign forever and ever.” God dwells in Zion (Ps.132:14). God inhabits “eternity” (Isa. 57:15). In Micah 4:5, Israel vows that they will own Him as their God le’Olam Ve’Ad forever an ever.
Psalm 132:11, 12, ad describes the length of time that the throne of David shall be occupided by his royal seed:”forevermore.” In Isaiah 9:6, Messiah is called :Everlasting Father,” which is in Hebrew, ‘Abi-‘Ad, literally “Father of Eternity,” that is the architect, builder, begetter, producer, and creator of the ages to come.
