I watched the entire segment, Manny.

Anyone who thinks the God of the Old Testament is not the same God as the one of the New Testament is in serious error. Throw out the Old Testament? NEVER!!!
Before Dr. Brown mentioned Gnosticism, I had already looked its definition on the internet. Does this false teaching surprise me? No. We are being bombarded, as was the early church, with messages that take the power from the blood of Jesus.

    Thanks for posting.

We are diffidently being attacked. Last night my wife and i attended a lecture at N.P.B.Church the speaker was N.T.Wright. It was a very refreshing time for us and we enjoyed his presentation. He had a lot of good things to say, but also mentioned that the body of Christ is being assaulted by many divergent forces and made special emphasis on reading the Bible and seeking understanding. Gnostic’s are diffidently at work, i found a post from two years ago on “Delights” blog about one of their hobby horses which is that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was “In-hospitality.”

I at the time could not find the article for delight but since have. It is a wide spread doctrine they like to use. I may post it with a few comments. Thank you for commenting.

      Blessings in Jesus name.
