With reference to persons, to fail.lack ex: Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. Heb. 4:1.  be inferior to ex: For I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles; 2 Cor. 11:5, to be in want, to come short of ex: The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Matt. 19:20. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God… Rom. 3:23.

    A great verse. It reminds me of the Sermon on the Mount’s “Do not worry about your llfe…”

    Indeed, we have all fallen short. How great it is to know that we have a Great Advocate!
