For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part, I believe it. For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized (manifest, evident) among you. 1 Corinthians 11:18, 19.
Recognized, phaneros; Strong’s #5318. Conspicuous, apparent, manifest, visible, evident, plain, clear, open to sight. The very nature of the word suggests a visibility that gives the observer an ability to define immediately what is seen.
Here the Apostle Paul states that the only good that can come out of false brethren is the evident goodness of the true brethren. In Matthew 6:4, 6, 18, Jesus assures us that the Father observing us in secret rewards us openly (phaneros).

I hope that I am phaneros in my connection to the Lord Jesus.
Another great nugget.
