The Good Confession.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, o man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:10-11.

Gentleness, praotes  Strong’s #4236.   Gentleness speaks of a disposition that is even-tempered, tranquil, balanced in spirit (personal spirit), unpretentious, and that is best translated “meekness,”  not as an indication of weakness (Caspar Milquetoast), but of power and strength under control (Son of Man- Jesus Christ).

The person who possesses this quality pardons injuries, corrects faults, and rules his own spirit well.

Gentleness…one of the fruits of the spirit. One of the classes we teach at the center is called “Your Child’s Spiritual Training.” In it we discuss how the fruits of the spirit are necessary in order to model for a child the traits of a Christian.

As you have stated so correctly:

“The person who possesses this quality pardons injuries, corrects faults, and rules his own spirit well.”

    God’s blessings my friend…

also…I’m having some computer issues so if you don’t hear from me in a while don’t think I’ve dropped off of the map.
