What is a one-word definition of a wise attitude, belief, or course of action?

And Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people. Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia, and Asia), disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. Acts 6:10

Wisdom, Sophia Strong’s #4678. Here we have a gift (James 1:5) which brings with it practical wisdom, prudence, skill, comprehensive insight, Christian enlightenment, a right application of knowledge, and insight into the true nature of things.

Wisdom works with knowledge as in Romans 11:33, Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

We all need daily help with having a wise attitude toward our Lord and the world as well as a proper belief that glorifies God. It is always wise to stop and ask the person of the Holy Spirit for a course of action that shows His wisdom and how to apply understanding to our present course of action. So that we are pleasing in the sight of our Lord.

In this quote from Acts 6:10 we have a splendid example of how testifying of your faith as in witnessing to someone; is not just a matter of saying the right things. Witnessing is a spiritual battle that requires the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit working in the witness.

Wisdom is something I pray for on a daily basis. When I pray with my “clients,” I always ask God to give them wisdom in their situation.

Wisdom is becoming rare to find these days among our leaders. Our godless ways have created a lack of common sense from the highest position in the land all the way down to our lower courts.

Have a great day, Manny, in spite of what I have just written.

i agree it is very sad that good men turn to the ways of the world rather than our Lord. it also shows up in the arts. Creativity has become very narrow minded in comparison to to the artisans God assigned to work in the Tabernacle. Have a blessed day today.
